Overview
FaxMaker users can log in to the web interface to access the web client to send faxes and SMS. Administrators can use the web interface to generate reports and monitor FaxMaker operation.
This article describes how to log in to the web interface.
Process

To log into the web interface go to Start > Programs > GFI FaxMaker > GFI FaxMaker Web Interface, or open a browser and go to:
http://<FaxMaker hostname>/FaxMaker
. This will work from the server or anywhere in the local network with permission. -
Once the page comes up, the page should look like the one shown below:

Login using required credentials depending on directory structure:

Active Directory: Use your normal domain credentials.

GFI Directory: When FaxMaker is installed in GFI Directory mode, key in your GFI directory credentials. Ensure that users are assigned a GFI directory password to be able to authenticate and login to the web interface. If users do not have a password, send them a welcome email that enables them to set a password. To send the welcome email go to the licensed users' configuration screen and select the users or groups and send the welcome email.

Only Licensed users or Fax admins are able to log into the web interface:

Licensed Users: Will only have access to the web client.

Fax Admins: Will have access to all aspects of the web interface except the web client.
- Users who are both Fax Admins and Licensed Users will have access to all areas in the web interface.
