Any FaxMaker installation using a Brooktrout SR140 as a fax device.
Solution
Below is a list of the types of SR140 licenses. The key thing to note is with the SR140 L and SR140-R1 licenses, G711 passthrough is not available. This can be observed in the Brooktrout Configuration Tool where the fax transport field is greyed out.
SR140 R3 Version
SR140-4-R3 - This designation shows 4 channels of revision 3 SR140 license.
Density: 2 to 120 channels per system
Fax transmission: ITU T.38; G.711 pass-through
Fax Modems: ITU T.30 Group 3 V.34, V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21 and V.33 modulation with auto fallback
SR140 R1 Version
SR140-4-R13 - This designation shows 4 channels of revision 1 SR140 license.
Density: 2 to 8 channels per system
Fax transmission: ITU T.38
Fax Modems: ITU T.30 Group 3 V.34, V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21 and V.33 modulation with auto fallback
SR140-L Version
SR140-L-4 - This designation shows 4 channels of the SR140-L license.
Density: 2 to 8 channels per system
