You may need to downgrade your license key when you cannot install the latest FaxMaker release.
When you upgrade your FaxMaker license, it is updated to the latest version.
While this works for most customers, some may have restrictions on the version they can use for various reasons, and having the license in the previous version is needed. In such cases, the license key must be downgraded to the version required.
Verify your current version using the finding your FaxMaker version article, then open a ticket with GFI Support providing the license key and request the downgrade to the version you need.
Support agent: Escalate the license downgrade request according to the FaxMaker Routing Table.
Once the downgraded license key is received from GFI Support, follow the steps in the Viewing/Applying New License Key article.
After the license is applied, it will work in your FaxMaker system with the required version.
