Environment
Any FaxMaker installation. This can also pertain to FaxMaker installations on a Microsoft Exchange server.
Solution
When installing or upgrading FaxMaker, ensuring the account you are logged in to has the proper permissions is crucial for the installation to complete. This account should be the same as the FaxMaker fax server service account. The Requirements for Service Account article explains the necessary permissions, and installing as a domain administrator also meets these permission requirements.
After having a failed install, which could have been partially installed, removal and reinstallation may be required.
Confirmation
Upon logging into the FaxMaker server with an account with proper credentials, the installation process will complete.
