When an Unknown Error 3 is given, FaxMaker, and the fax device attached, cannot establish a connection or the connection is lost during the setup phase. This is usually somewhat indicative of a larger issue and rather than use resources on a fax that will fail, FaxMaker will move to other faxes and send those.
No matter what retry settings are set in the FaxMaker Configuration, FaxMaker will not retry faxes that fail with unknown error 3 errors. The reason for this is if a connection cannot be made, a retry will not make the fax connect and rather than waste resources on a fax that will not connect, FaxMaker will move on to send the next faxes. The unknown error 3 is somewhat more indicative of a larger issue.
