Overview
When the Web Client Printer Driver is installed there should be no issue printing to this printer and having the FaxMaker Web Interface pop up to log in and send a fax. Some users are able to print .pdf files to the Web Client Printer but the FaxMaker Web Interface login screen does not appear.
Solution
We have only seen this issue a couple of times and each time it has been related to permissions. To resolve this follow the steps below:
On the FaxMaker server, right-click Start and select Run.
Type Regedit and select OK.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GFI Fax & Voice
Right-click the GFI Fax & Voice key and select Permissions...
Add the group Authenticated Users and give Full Control to this group.
Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
Restart the FaxMaker services from the services.msc.
Confirmation
Once the correct permissions have been applied in the Windows Registry, all users will be able to print .pdf files to the Web Client Printer and have the FaxMaker Web Interface login screen appear.
