Overview
When all faxes that are sent show as pending rather than being sent. This article gives steps to take to ensure the fax service account is in proper standing.
Solution
Generally, when all faxes go to pending the account balance of the account is too low to be able to send a fax. The following steps are guidelines to follow to confirm your account standing.
- Verify in the send log (C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\FaxMaker\logs\sendlog.fmlogger.txt) what error you are receiving, if any.
- Verify in the respective portal(Etherfax or FaxMaker Online) for errors or account balance.
- Check your email account associated with GFI alerts concerning your account and confirm no alerts have been received. Check your spam folder as well to be sure these items were not missed.
If you find the account balance is too low to send a fax, reach out to your reseller and order more pages for your subscription. If you cannot directly determine your balance, reach out to GFI Sales or your reseller to assist with this.
Confirmation
If your account balance was low and you contacted your reseller to add to your balance, and normal operation with regard to your faxing can now resume.
