Overview

Incoming fax calls fail with Call Failed: 46 when using a LANCOM device.

Solution

The option "Fax Gateway" is not activated, hence no fax calls are accepted.

To activate the Fax Gateway option:

• Access the LANCOM device configuration, go to Activate Software Option, and enter the Activation Code generated earlier.
• Note that the method of access of the Activate Software Option differs according to the method used to access the device configuration.
