Overview

The purpose of this article is to provide steps for changing the installation path of your FaxMaker installation.  

 

 

Environment

Any FaxMaker installation. 

 

 

Solution

In order for FaxMaker to be moved to a new installation path, it must be reinstalled to that location.  

Before the installation wizard gives the option for a new installation path specific registry keys and the FaxMaker folder must be removed.  

Follow the Reinstalling FaxMaker article, uninstall FaxMaker, including removing the registry keys in step 6 and renaming the FaxMaker folder in step 8.  

Linked at the end of the Reinstalling FaxMaker article, the Installing FaxMaker article lists steps to install FaxMaker, including step 12, which is defining the installation path.  

 

 

Confirmation

Upon completion of the steps above, FaxMaker will be reinstalled in a new location of your choosing.
