Overview

The purpose of this article is to provide a possible solution for when none of the FaxMaker services will start when installed on a virtual machine.  

 

 

Environment

Any virtualized FaxMaker installation.

 

 

Solution

In several cases when this has happened, we have found the virtual machine has been corrupted and many services that should be started are not.  This would include the FaxMaker services. 

Verification that the virtual machine is not corrupt and is fully functional is the first step.  This should be done by a server admin in your IT group.  

If you do find that the virtual machine is corrupt, then the creation of a new virtual machine would be required and a new installation of FaxMaker on that new virtual machine would resolve the issue.  

If the virtual machine is not corrupt, then review the  FaxMaker Send or Receive Faxes Not Working article for further troubleshooting.  

 

 

Confirmation

After confirming the virtual machine is corrupt, installing FaxMaker on a new virtual machine will resolve the issues being experienced.  If the virtual machine is not corrupt then the additional information given in the FaxMaker Send or Receive Faxes Not Working article will provide direction for your troubleshooting.
