Overview

The purpose of this article is to inform customers if FaxMaker can be installed in an Azure cloud environment.  

 

 

Environment

Any virtualized FaxMaker installation.

 

 

Solution

FaxMaker can be installed in a cloud environment but it must meet the system requirement as mentioned in the System Requirements for Installing FaxMaker article. 

If you are doing a fresh install in your cloud instance, please follow the instruction in the Installing FaxMaker article. If you want to migrate an existing Faxmaker installation to the cloud then follow the instructions in the Migrating the FaxMaker Installation to a New Server article.

Please Note that when FaxMaker is installed on a virtual machine it will only work with FOIP as the physical devices on the virtual machine is not a supported configuration.

Upon review of the information and articles listed above, you will be able to install a virtual FaxMaker system in your cloud environment.
