Overview

Users get the following error message when opening the BrookTrout configuration:

The Boston Host service is not installed

 

 

Environment

Any FaxMaker Installation using Brooktrout devices.

 

 

 

Solution

From Programs, right-click the Brooktrout Configuration Tool and select run as administrator.  This solution has been provided by Dialogic for Configuration Tool access.

 

 

Confirmation

When running the Brooktrout Configuration Tool as an administrator, the Tool will open without any error.
